Our Building and Grounds
St. Paul’s enjoys a beautiful location in the center of downtown Wallingford, Connecticut. Built in 1868, our church has been lovingly cared for by many generations. Today, dedicated volunteers in our Lawn Brigade, Property Committee, Memorial Garden Committee, and other ministries steward this building and property as we grow into God’s plan for us in the 21st century!
In addition to our historic sanctuary, a wing of the building includes a small chapel, offices, classrooms, and Wilkinson Hall, our large function hall, and a commercial kitchen. We are also home to the wonderful St. Paul’s Nursery School.
In the rear of the main building, an additional structure houses the St. Paul's Thrift Shop. We use our outdoor space for potlucks, worship, and the annual Church School Easter Egg Hunt, among other events. Our Memorial Garden is a peaceful burial ground, reverently maintained by members of our parish.
