St. Paul's
Memorial Garden
& Columbarium
For those of you who may not know, St. Paul's has a
Memorial Garden, located on the North lawn and a Columbarium,
located in the St. Luke's Chapel.
The Garden was created by
parishioners for the sole purpose of the internment of human
cremains (ashes). It was dedicated on Sunday, May 19, 1996. It was
an ancient practice to bury the dead in and around the church in
which they had worshipped. The garden itself is lovingly tended to
by Rob Page. He has put in many plantings, some of which are
memorials.
The Columbarium was created
for an indoor internment of ashes. It is on the east wall of the
chapel.
We encourage anyone looking
for a burial place to consider St. Paul's Memorial Garden or
Columbarium.
Application forms are available in the office.
